Filmmakers and skiers Sam Favret and Maxime Moulin, have produced this amazing edit using and FPV drone and a DJI Mavic Pro 2.

It's been a while since we've featured a video like this on RedShark, but this latest edit from Sam Favret is pretty special. Instead of ground based camera operators, or head mounted GoPros, Sam has put together a sequence about big mountain skiing using an FPV drone and a DJI Mavic Pro 2.

FPV drones can produce some incredible results, but what we usually see from them are flights around landscapes and environments without much purpose. Under the direction of Maxime Moulin, here the technology is being used to capture the size and the risk of the environment as skiers tackle some incredibly dangerous terrain in the French Alps around Chamonix, followed by drone pilot and cinematographer Hensli Sage.

Everything about this says quality, from the music, to the sound design, the cinematography, grading, and the edit itself. Watch the video below, and then watch a behind the scenes underneath. Enjoy!
