Speedkore's 1,000 HP Hellephant-Powered 1968 Dodge Charger restomod is simply known as the Hellucination.

Dodge first took to introducing its Charger models in 1966. Although they were mighty powerful for their time, the horsepower comparison doesn't weigh up quite impressively to today's models. Yet, a 1968 Dodge Charger, which could normally offer up to 425 horsepower, is now home to a Dodge Hellephant that can deliver up to 1,000 horsepower thanks to SpeedKore. The “Hellucination”, built for client Ralph Gilles, is quite epic and now a sight for all thanks to Speedkore Performance.

The most impressive thing about this "Hellucination" of the 1968 Dodge Charger from SpeedKore has to be its power output, which comes from its Dodge Hellephant 7.0-liter V8 engine. The output stands at around 1,000 HP thanks to this engine upgrade, which proves to be all worthwhile.

The bespoke Charger features not only a Hellephant engine but also a full carbon-fiber body. There are floor and wheel tubs that are an addition to a custom SpeedKore perimeter frame. The tubs allow wider wheels/tires that help the car handle better thanks to a wider track, and it also gives it a threatening stance. This framework also boasts a roll cage, which offers a stiffer chassis for better handling dynamics as well as extra safety, essential in such a powerful Dodge Charger.

As well to mechanical tweaks, the 1968 Hellephant-powered Dodge Charger also has numerous design tweaks too. Not only is it a performer, but a looker too.

The classic 1968 Charger is now home to an immense amount of carbon fiber, including a carbon-fiber hood, custom front, and rear SpeedKore valances, and 1968 head and taillights as an addition from Dapper Lighting. Moreover, the exterior also boasts beautiful carbon fiber body panels to give it an all-carbon-fiber appearance.

The custom carbon fiber doesn't stop on the outside, it goes inside the Hellephant-powered Charger too. The car boasts a custom carbon-fiber dash, door panels, and rear interior quarter panels as well as seatbacks.

For anyone who loves carbon fiber and powerful Dodge Chargers, this is a one-of-a-kind piece that the forefathers of the brand and its customer base could have only once dreamed of.

Overall, Ralph Gilles' mission to modernize the 1968 Dodge Charger certainly has come true. It looks like something of the future with its plethora of carbon fiber features. Likewise, it performs like a modern muscle car thanks to its stunning Hellephant V8 engine.
