Ducati has teased its first motorcycle for 2023. Though a subtle teaser, it points towards another Ducati-Lamborghini tie-up after the sizzling Diavel 1260 Lamborghini last year. This time, however, the Panigale-maker is upping the game with a special edition Streetfighter V4 inspired by none other than the Lamborghini Huracan STO (Super Trofeo Omologata).

The teaser shows a sleek carbon fiber body panel with an STO logo just like the Huracan’s. It has a dual-tone finish comprising the Verde Selvans tone from the Huracan’s palette and the much-popular Ducati red below it.

Interestingly, the panel shape is identical to the Streetfighter V4’s lower side panels, and when you increase the brightness, it even matches the mounting points and the hoses. This, in conjunction with the engine casing and the Italian flag just above the panel, helps confirm the bike’s identity.

So now that we know what it is, what can you expect from this unique V4? Judging from the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, the first thing to expect is a lot of carbon fiber spread all around the motorcycle. Next, the Streetfighter Lamborghini will also roll on special alloys inspired by the STO’s wheels, and of course, round off things with a Lambo-inspired livery.

What you shouldn’t expect, though, is more performance. The Streetfighter V4 already pumps out 208 horsepower and 123Nm, the former being the highest for a naked motorcycle, so these numbers will remain as it is. Similarly, the suspension and brakes will most likely be the same as the Streetfighter V4 S.

The motorcycle will debut on September 2, 2022, via an online premiere airing at 12:30pm EST straight from the Misano circuit. Once out, expect the motorcycle to sell in limited numbers at upwards of $35,000, the price of the top-of-the-line Streetfighter V4 SP.
