Currently listed with Bring a Trailer, this iconic Lambo looks like the ultimate sports car and has just 3,000 miles on the clock.

The Lamborghini Diablo was the final car made by the Italian company before its acquisition by Audi. Confusingly, the Diablo would also become the first Lamborghini made under the Audi ownership, with the later edition of the car. The VT Roadster is an incredible rare example of the Diablo, with just 200 made between 1995 and 1998. And on Bring a Trailer right now is this stunning 1998 Diablo VT Roadster with just over 3,000 miles on the clock.

The VT is the viscous traction model, also known as the all-wheel drive alternative to the standard Diablo. The car has key differences from the standard Diablo, which are the air intakes added below the driving lights, as well as the enlarged scoops ahead of the rear wheels. The 1998 model year was also the final one to see a Diablo with pop-up headlights. This particular VT Roadster is in silver, and has a rear wing, fog lights and a body-color carbon fiber roof panel. This roof panel attaches to the rear deck lid when it is fully removed.

Across the side of the car, our eyes are immediately drawn to the wheels. The Diablo VT Roadster has multi-piece 18-inch OZ Racing wheels, and these are also mounted with 235/35 front and 335/30 rear Pirelli tires. As you might expect, the stopping power for the car is thanks to Brembo calipers, and these are over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

Thanks to its low mileage and careful ownership, this Diablo VT Roadster is in truly beautiful condition. And that theme carries on when we step inside the Lamborghini.

Inside the Diablo VT Roadster we see the black leather seats, with white piping along them which also matches the center console, door panels and the carpets. There is plenty of equipment in the car too. This includes the power windows, the automatic climate control, an Alpine CD player with an in-dash CD changer plus a gated shifter. Under the hood of the Diablo is a 5.7-liter V12 engine. This engine saw the introduction of valve timing management for the 1998 model year. The engine produces 485 hp with 428 lb-ft of torque. The Bring a Trailer listing says an oil change was done in April 2022, and at the time of writing the bidding stands at $425,000 with five days to go.
