She's even got her own Coyote-swapped build in the works.

There is something about classic cars that people keep on acquiring them despite their old age. They might be, however, lacking in the power department, and that is where engine swaps could come in. For instance, one may shoehorn a Coyote V8 engine into an older Ford Bronco. The feel and sound of driving a Coyote-swapped Bronco could make one smile, including Monster Jam driver Cynthia Gauthier.

For those who don’t know Cynthia, she is one of the drivers behind the wheel of the Monster Mutt Dalmatian. The 33-year-old has been a Monster Jam driver since 2015 and was the MonsterJam WorldFinals High Jump Champion in 2019. An avid CrossFit gym athlete, Cynthia is also the host of a French television show called Zone VL.

While she loves driving a titanic Monster Truck, Cynthia also drives smaller and lighter vehicles when not competing. Currently, she is building a classic Ford truck with a Coyote V8 with a shop somewhere in Texas, getting some help from Fat Fender Garage, which specializes in classic truck and hot rod restoration. While the build project is still ongoing, Fat Fender Garage gave Cynthia a chance to drive a Coyote V8-swapped Ford Bronco

Based in Gilbert, Arizona, Fat Fender Garage has been swapping older engines in practically any vehicle applicable with the vaunted Coyote V8 engine. A quick look at their YouTube channel reveals several videos about Coyote V8 swaps. There are even tutorial videos such as how to shift a Coyote V8 engine as well as how to relocate the oil filer on the swap.

Cynthia was in town for the Monster Jam Phoenix, so she stopped by and paid Fat Fender Garage a visit. Fat Fender Garage host Karisa obliged to give Cynthia, “stealing” one of the company’s recently completed gen 3 Coyote V8 swapped Broncos with a 10-speed automatic Atlas transfer case. The shiny red Bronco also looked properly restored in terms of looks.

While gen 3 Bronco trucks aren’t necessarily underpowered, installing a more powerful Coyote V8 would be a better option. Aside from the more than ample power coming from the mill, the audio track it generates every time the driver press the gas pedal is drive-inspiring. As for proof, just look at Cynthia’s face on the video – it was laden with thrill, excitement and fun. It is also no wonder she wants a Coyote V8 for her truck build.
