Sideshow unveils a Hot Toys sixth-scale figure based on Michael Keaton's Batman, along with an incredible new Batcave Computer diorama.

Sideshow has released several new glimpses at upcoming Hot Toys figures based on the DC Comics superhero Batman at 2022's San Diego Comic-Con.

Hot Toys wants to know if DC fans have ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight. The manufacturer beyond the highly detailed collectible merchandise has unveiled its latest DC addition: a sixth-scale figure from the 1989 film Batman that is based on Michael Keaton's likeness. The figure was showcased for the very first time at Sideshow's Comic-Con booth, along with an incredible new Batcave Computer diorama that looks like it was pulled straight out of Tim Burton's 1989 DC film. Both the figure and diorama will be available for pre-order at Sideshow in the near future.

Sideshow also debuted a new Batman figure from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy and an impressive new Batcave Armory diorama. The Batman Transparent Armory Set Sixth Scale Figure is not available for pre-order at Sideshow at the moment, but DC fans can set aside one of the Hot Toys The Dark Knight Trilogy Batman figures at Sideshow. Available for pre-order on Sideshow, the upcoming DC quarter-scale figure, based on Christian Bale's portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman, features "two Batman masked head sculpts with interchangeable face designs, including one with LED light-up function eyes and one with separate rolling eyeballs features" as well as "a Bruce Wayne head sculpt showcasing delicate craftsmanship, a highly poseable body reflecting Batman’s strong and muscular form, a finely tailored Batsuit completed with weave carbon fiber-like detailing, an array of signature gadgets including EMP rifle with LED light-up function, sticky bomb gun, grapnel gun, Batarangs, mini-mine, and functional equipment, plus a chest bust collectible stand for displaying the Bruce Wayne head sculpt and Batman masked head sculpts." The figure stands approximately 18.5" tall and features over 32 points of articulations in the body along with seven interchangeable gloved hands.

Keaton first appeared as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Burton's 1989 film and later reprised the role for 1992's Batman Returns. While Keaton stepped away from the role following that movie, Keaton was officially confirmed to be returning as The Dark Knight for The Flash in April 2021. Although unconfirmed, the film will reportedly erase Ben Affleck's Batman from the DC Extended Universe and replace him with Keaton's version of the caped crusader. In addition to The Flash, Keaton has been confirmed to return as Batman in the upcoming Batgirl movie, which stars Leslie Grace as the DCEU's Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. Behind-the-scenes photos from the Batgirl set shared by Alan Fettes in February showed Keaton's double wearing a new Batsuit. A video from the set showed a moment shared between Keaton's Batman and a younger Commissioner James Gordon.
