Composites specialist, Anderson Composites has released its all-new Wide-Track Package for the C8 Corvette. Owners of C8 Corvettes may not need to wait in line at their local GM dealers to get their hands on a wide-body C8 Corvette. Anderson’s new all-carbon-fiber widebody kit is very similar to the highly-anticipated Z06 Corvette which is just over the sales-floor horizon.

The nine-piece package brings enhanced aerodynamics to the 2020-2021 C8 Stingray and Z51 Corvette models. The Anderson Composites package took numerous cues from the Corvette Racing C8.R race car which has been tearing up tracks all over the globe. The new 9-piece all-carbon-fiber package includes a wider front bumper assembly with splitter and canards, 1-1/2-inch wider front fenders, door opening replacement frames with rocker panel splitters, 1-3/4-inch wider rear fenders, gas door, and a completely redesigned rear bumper assembly that includes a rear diffuser.

The extra width of the kit allows for wider tires thanks to an additional 3-inches in front and 3.5-inches in the rear. The front bumper was redesigned to increase air to the radiators and has additional canards for increased downforce. There is also an additional splitter and belly pan for better aerodynamics. There are also additional front vertical venting in the front fenders for increased heat dissipation of the front brakes.

The front and rear widebody sections are mated with the door sill connectors on each side. These views show all nine of the carbon bits that comprise the kit. C8 owners can also opt for Anderson's carbon fiber doors, hood, roof, and rear hatch for an all-carbon C8 Corvette!

The door opening panels tie all the components together, integrating the wider front and rear components and also utilizing rocker panel splitters for additional aerodynamics. At the rear of the car, the new bumper integrates the wider rear fenders and yet utilizes the OEM tail lights, factory third brake light, and optional Z51 spoiler or high wing.

The wider components still use the factory headlights, taillights, and even the Z51 high-wing!

All parts are designed to use the original fasteners in the OE locations. Additionally, the front bumper and fenders integrate the factory OE headlight assemblies in the stock locations with no required modifications. All components are manufactured using the vacuum infusion process which allows for precise dimension adherence as well as increased strength and show-quality finish. The entire package can be used with Anderson’s existing C8 dry carbon fiber hoods, rear hatch, roof, doors, and trim for an all-carbon-fiber Corvette. Anderson also announced Wide-Track Package will also be offered in fiberglass under SKU number AC-20C8WTP-GF.
